Hi,
My transporter 2,5 TDi 2004 (AXD) has a cold start problem. Battery is fresh and working ok, engine turns over as it should but takes about 15-20 seconds of turning before it starts. Outside temp is about +5 to -10°C
The problem does not occure when parked in a warm garage (+20°C).

I checked function of glow plugs, they seem ok, but they does not work unless I ground the relay manually. (separate ECU-problem?) Though it didnt help at all..

Local VW-workshop says it looses fuel pressure so they helped me replace the fuel pump. But no success.
Still hard to start.

What can it be?
