HI
Can anyone identify this noise from golf 4 v6 4motion, it happens from cold start first thing on a morning but dissapears after about 3 minutes and is as quiet as a mouse,

with out looking at it you probilly have the hydrolic tappets gone and low oil try some lucas oil treatment its heavy oil that sticks in the tappets
otherwise its an expensive problem to fix
