hi there i have a 2.0 litre golf gti turbo fsi engine code axx
its just turn 5 years old

today i started to change the cambelt on it and services
the service when great no problems

but

i came to get the canbelt off but i can not get the engine mounting out
got all the bolts out but i will not come out

is there a special way to get it out

need help thanks david

remove the water pump

re GTI cambelt change, to remove engine mtg first remove water pump

hi make sure you support the engine with a jack or stand and do you mean the engine mount or the mount to the side plate to the engine ??
