My Octavia has developed a VERY annoying noise. After I have used the indicators, the clicking noise you normally hear continues. Not only does it continue but the speed changes too. Can anyone tell me what has gone wrong, and how I can fix it?

If its anything like the audis the repeater signal is done thru the hazard button/ assembly, replace that or search for audi/vw indicator problems, gives a quick fix but i ordered a new hazard switch online for about £15, change that, your sorted.

It\'s to do with the indicator stalk itself. It needs changing and then it\'s good as new. Part is around £12-£15

I fixed mine simply using contact cleaner. Was a quick fix, no need to take off steering wheel or anything. Just give the stalk a good spray and tadah

Maybe a hard drive going out? Where does the clicking noise comes from exactly inside the rig?
