We don't have this mechanism. It's possible only when buying official ETOS or ETKA.

I know this is an old post but I can tell you ETKA 7.0 will decode a VIN number. ETKA 7.2 won't because you have to pay for this facility. 
Golf GTD (170) 2010, Shadow Blue, Flat Tyre Indicator, Service Plan, Basic Protection Pack + VCDS.
