Hi All, i have a 2003 VW Passat 1.9tdi, the Car fails to start after being run for a few days, i have had the battery tested and the result came back fine ie: Charging 71%. I have noticed when i turn on the ignition, the Headlight Switch illuminates, should this happen, it goes off again when i remove the key, any ideas would be most appreciated, thanks, Mick.

likely to be the alternator not charging the battery properly. headlight switch is normal.

Headlight switch work same on my VW TDI, but probably is alternator or battery, I have couple time experience when the battery is on the way to broke they wont hold power more the 1-2 day.
