any ideas for getting the coolant flange lower nut out from down the timing hole?
being a twat i dropped it down there whilst replacing the leaky pattern part on my project scirocco. i tried with a flexi stick grabber thing but no luck. can the gearbox be separated enough in situ (leaving shafts on) that the blank panel at the bottom of the join can be slid out?
any pointers appeciated,
