hy guys, i just bought an audi 100 quattro cs 2.2, made in 1989. the problem i have it's the hand brake. if i pull the hand brake the brake calipers wont release it. if i buy a repair kit and repair them will i have this problem again? what sollution do you recomend. sorry for my english, it's a bit rusty.

hello again. i discovered what the problem was. the problem was the release springs. the springs ar verry soft and they dont do the job.

check that the cables are free. you can by new calipers for next to nothing, when fitting they can be a bit of a ass to bleed so dont fix to the caliper mounting as the air needs to be shaken to the bleed nipple as it sits at a funny angle,make sure u have a gap of around 0.5 mm between the piston and the pads before under going any work.
