Hi,

I am looking for VAG part number 171 803 501H - left rear side member, or longitudinal member.  My rear axle mount is very rusty and needs replacing.

I figure, to get the angle & alignment correct, if I can obtain this part, it can be welded into place, taking the old one out to good metal.

But, VAG no longer make this.  But doing a search on here comes up with a price in Euro's, which was very interesting!  But no buying options.

Can anyone advise?  I'd like to keep the old gal running for a few more years yet - she was 26 this July, want to celebrate 30yrs...
