I'm trying to work out how to fit 8D0-813-545 brackets to my 2002 A6 Avant, I have the seat base lifted, but there doesn't seem to be anything pre-drilled to bolt the bracket to.
Has anybody successfully fitted these brackets to an Avant?
The bracket can be seen here, 8B on the diagram.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(also some hints on how to properly remove the seat base, there seems to be some heavy wire brackets still holding the front of the seat in place...)
Thanks,
Simon.

Hi there, i'm looking for the VAG part number for the rear parcel shelf for my 1998 A6 estate.. it's the roller blind type.
It might just be me, but i can't see the parcel shelf numberd anywhere in the diagrams.. it's there around other items, like fittings, but not on it's own...
has anyone got any ideas???
thanks in advance

Does anyone have any idea why the ignition cuts out on a 2.0 8v when attempting a hill start or pulling away from lights. The engine revs freely from idle, but at the clutch bite point, the ignition randomly cuts causing the car to kangeroo hop. The only remedy is to apply a gentle throttle, slipping the clutch until a very gentle bite is applied. This makes steep hill starts impossible - engine stalls completely. At aproximately 2000rpm, the car pulls normally.
