Time to replace a thermostat on a 99 A6 2.8L quattro

I need to know where the part is located and how long it will take to replace it.

The theromstat is located below the water pump. The housing is about 8 inches long and angles downword toward the passenger side of the car. The radiator hose is connected to the far end. There are 2 or 3 bolts that hold this piece in place and the timing belt must be removed to replace the thermostat. If you have the worked on these cars before, you can do it in about 5 hours! If not, read the link. If you look you can see the water outlet just below the passenger side camshaft sprocket, it is the round shinny part and the rest of the housing is a slight up angle and to the right to the center of the engine.
http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng.html is the article. Click on A6 and look for article titled "1999 A6 2.8 Timing Belt and Water Pump"
In the 5th picture in the article is where you can see the thermostat housing.

Good luck!
