hesitation on acceleration

polo 1.4 aex 1995 hesitation on acceleration. fine when i just tickle the accelerator
but when i go to give it some it don't respond seems to clog up 2 much fuel
2 much air don't know changed oil, air, fuel, filters,oil, plugs, leads, dizy cap, rotor arm, mid and back section of exhaust. cleaned and reset TB
compression test done OK
starting to pull hair out

help needed

I would suggest that you consult somone with a VAG-COM, who can help you to monitor the vehicle while you are driving. The problems could be caused by a bad "Air metering Device" (called a LMM in Germany)

the fuel pressure maybe weak due to damaged fuel pump

these polo's are renowned for the throttle sensor packing up... get on vagcom / diagnostic lead, that'd tell all

If VagCom diagnostic software is possible to use in this car, I'll give a vote for it too!

NOTE: The program is free to use for options like monitoring motor so only thing you need to pay is the cord from the computer to the car. Here Finland I bought mine third party copy by something like a 30ˆs. Not expensive investment.
