Numbering on pictures

The pictures with the parts don't match the parts listed to the right correctly.

A part numbered 1 mightn't be listed at all.

yeah i thought that. look at the colour on the list down the side, i ended up reading the iteam above the number.

I've noticed this too, eg: in the picture I was looking at, some of the oil/coolant temp senders are listed as sealing washers, and the part numbers on some pairs of senders are reversed when you compare different model-years of the same engine...

Try looking at a previous year. I had this problem for my MK2 Golf 1990. The 1990 pics and parts list were not matched up completely. I found the name of the part I was interested in on 1987 listing. Same parts diagram, but parts listing included what I was looking for.
