Swapping MFD2 RNS DVD for CD version
VW Touran 2003- I have replaced the MFD2 RNS CD with the DVD version (C). Nav & CD all OK but the radio reception is hopeless. I noticed that one of the two radio plugs ( coffee coloured) on the DVD unit has an extra 'lug' on it so car leads will not connect ( without shaving with knife). Is this something to do with one of these units having inbuilt diversity switch & the other not? Is there a cure? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

This is just a shot in the dark but... Is your antenna powered? If its like my A3. If it is make sure the antenna power cable is connected because without it, you'll get mostly static and can only pick up a few stations.

Have just been quoted £690.00 part and labour, main dealership, to replace auxiliary heater on Oct 2004 Touran TDI . This seems excessive. Has anyone had a similar experience ?
